1. Purpose

Kubus LLC is committed to conducting construction and remodeling activities in a responsible and environmentally sustainable manner. This policy establishes our commitment to reducing environmental impact, conserving resources, and promoting green practices in our operations and projects.

2. Waste Reduction & Recycling

Kubus LLC implements the following practices:

  • Separation and recycling of construction debris whenever feasible, including metal, cardboard, drywall, wood, and packaging.

  • Use of recycling facilities and waste haulers that support diversion from landfills.

  • Reduction of jobsite waste through accurate material takeoffs and ordering.

  • Reuse of materials when safe and appropriate.

3. Energy Efficiency

Kubus LLC is committed to minimizing energy consumption by:

  • Using energy-efficient (LED) lighting in office and jobsite settings where applicable.

  • Selecting ENERGY STAR–rated equipment and tools when available.

  • Reducing unnecessary idling of vehicles and equipment.

  • Utilizing digital documentation to reduce printing and paper use.

4. Water Conservation

Kubus LLC promotes water efficiency by:

  • Installing low-flow plumbing fixtures when included in the project scope.

  • Implementing water-saving practices during construction and cleanup.

  • Educating team members on minimizing water waste on jobsites.

5. Environmentally Preferable Products

Kubus LLC prioritizes the use of:

  • Low-VOC and zero-VOC paints, coatings, sealants, and adhesives.

  • Environmentally friendly cleaning products.

  • Sustainable and durable building materials when feasible and approved by the client.

6. Employee Awareness & Training

  • All employees and subcontractors are informed of Kubus LLC’s green practices.

  • Environmental responsibility is communicated during onboarding and project coordination.

  • Employees are encouraged to suggest improvements to sustainability practices.

7. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Kubus LLC complies with all applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

  • The company reviews and updates its green practices regularly.

  • This policy supports participation in recognized green business certification programs.

8. Responsibility

The Managing Member / RME is responsible for implementing this policy and ensuring compliance across company operations and project sites.
